What are some games that have guitar solo music in them? Like f zero64 and cruis'n world for example.
Guitar solo type music shouldn't really be in videogames at all, in my opinion. Hopefully there was a choice to turn the music off in both those games, I don't recall exactly though.

As a guitar player, I do appreciate when music doesn't use an electric guitar as its lead instrument, since it is overused. But in the case of F-Zero (SNES), Mute City and Big Blue (my personal favorite BGM from the game) already used brass as their lead instruments. Where else was there to go for the N64 version, except the electric guitar? What other lead instrument would have sufficed? Nintendo couldn't just do the same thing again.

I would say it's weird that you can't toggle the music/ announcer or sound in it. Since the 1st games for the system like pilotwings and waverace let you turn off whatever.
I would enjoy it more if I could just hear sound only. I'll still play it though.
