People were assuming Ben Affleck was getting in Bat shape for "The Batman" but they confirmed they wanted some reahoots.
Joss Wheedon wants to do some reshoots now that Snyder stepped down due to personal issues.
I hope Ben is still doing "The Batman" and isn't just doing reshoots.

Matt Reeves is said to be taking production forward after promo duties for War for The Planet of The Apes. That should be around end of July start of August when he will be free to work on The Batman. I would expect Matts final script and casting too take the rest of this year. With a spring filming date in 2018 it is due for a 2019 release. It could start filming this year though you never know. As for Batfleck training in the BvS featurette it's implied it takes a long time to get in shape. So getting ready early could be the plan to be ready to go when filming starts. |

The news came from the WRAP , it was not mentioned that he might be preparing for JL reshoots.
Rest only time will tell.
