You don't have to insinuate that a person is stupid just because they don't know something you do. I don't remember IMDb having "sub-boards," and that is just about the only forum I ever visited. How does a sub-board come about? Can anyone create a sub-board?

Thanks! I takes a little getting used to the difference. I checked in the help section to see if replies could be to specific posts in a thread, but I didn't see that option. Am I wrong, or is there something I missed?

It's no difference it's just because it would be waaaaaaaay too much scrolling the mainboards if there was no subboards... The list is too long as it is IMHO no need to make it any longer

I'm so dumb. Obviously you already quoted! Whoops. I'm practicing here. With IMDb you could choose the layout of your view of threads. I don't remember them all, but one was nested. You could set it where the replies to a particular post were indented under that post. It looks like you can't do that here. So, if you don't use "quote" every time you respond to a post, it will get difficult to know which poster you are responding to. That can get confusing, and I find a repetitive quotes to be annoying. One is okay, but a string of them can get long. Anyway, just my observations. Thanks to all the responses I've gotten. |
