A 2 might be more fair since the acting and whatnot is okay. But few movies are as insulting and annoying. Besides the story just being dumb, the directing is really uninteresting and what it all leads to is just completely off-putting for more than one reason. I was mildly entertained by the first half of the movie and like Daddario well enough. Besides her being insanely hot, she is also quite likable in the movies I have seen her in. Scott Eastwood is good in the movie too. I was very annoyed when he turned out to be a bad guy, though it wasn't surprising at all. I was like "of course, how typical." I was waiting for the same thing to happen with the cowboy character in the new version and was pleasantly surprised. The only part remotely entertaining to me was the opening credits, which is just 3D shots from the original. I'm not a big Scott Eastwood fan. He's like the picture definition of a guy riding his dad's success (especially in Wrath of Man where he's almost doing a Clint impression and even filmed like his pop in the Dollars trilogy). What I found weird about his character is how he just disappeared from the movie entirely. But weird, gaping holes are par the course for TC3D.

I watched it all the way back in 2013, so I don't remember him disappearing from the movie. Now that you mention it though, it is coming back to me. I assume he was cast in Wrath of Man with that being the intention. I think he is very effective in the movie, but I can't argue too much that he is just doing a sort of impression of his Dad. I am not much of a fan of him either btw, but I did find him to be one of the better things about TC3D. I have no intention of watching a movie where he is the main character for example.

I only watch TV movies if they are directed by or starring someone I am a fan of, though I have watched a few Lifetime movies that weren't bad. I had a girlfriend who liked watching those types of movies so I ended up watching some with her.

Added Uncharted (which pleasantly surprised me). Maybe Dr. Strange 2 can be the next terrible-looking movie to actually be quite good??

This has been a hell of a year so far. All of the blockbusters/my own personal most-anticipated movies have been good to great.
Two mainstream projects that looked awful - Dr. Strange 2 and Uncharted - ended up being a couple of very enjoyable popcorn actioners. The two at the top are truly impressive; Scream was much better than it should’ve been.
Hopefully this year keeps it up.

I am guessing where it ranks. Am I close? Fuckin' psychic. I read your opinion on the movie and that placement seemed to fit.
