Ghostbusters and Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon is joining the Barbie world, as she's reportedly signed up to co-star with Margot Robbie in the upcoming Barbie movie.
Deadline reports that McKinnon is in talks to join the cast, which also features La La Land's Ryan Gosling, Superstore's America Ferrera and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu.
Little is known about the project so far, but Wolf of Wall Street star Robbie will be playing the famous Barbie while Gosling is starring as Ken.

Robbie is also producing the movie alongside Tom Ackerley under their LuckyChap production company, with Paddington producer David Heyman and Mattel Films' Robbie Brenner also producing.
Little Women director Greta Gerwig will be in the director's chair, while she has also written the script alongside Marriage Story's Noah Baumbach.
It hasn't yet been confirmed who McKinnon might be playing, but the movie will see her reunite with her Bombshell co-star Robbie. McKinnon can also soon be seen playing Tiger King's Carole Baskin in Peacock drama Joe vs Carole.

Last summer, Robbie spoke about her feelings about playing iconic doll Barbie, who has been a part of popular culture since first launching in 1959.
"It comes with a lot of baggage!" she said of the role. "And a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that come a lot of exciting ways to attack it.
"People generally hear 'Barbie' and think, 'I know what that movie is going to be,' and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they're like, 'Oh, well, maybe I don't...'"
When she was first cast in the role, the actress said that she was "honoured" to be involved in the movie, saying that she believes it will "have a tremendously positive impact on children and audiences worldwide".
