Im at school at the moment, so cant give this the full attention it needs.
From the URL alone I agree with the premise, in western democracy the male as alpha and ruler has given both genders decades if not centuries of mental crap and depression. Again I have not read the article, my gut instinct is that the morality of Christianity as it is espoused by organised religon

So yeah the article is talking about evangelical churches in particular. As as anglican this amuses me as there is such a range of belief and churches in Anglicanism that there are some that are very evangelical in nature. Evangelicalism tends towards a male father figure as a god, and of course that opens the door to misogyny as clearly if God is a man then men are better. I think that there is also an element of old school general male ideas here, although having said that the evangelical churches seem to be the ones appealing to younger audiences, so perhaps this indoctrination will continue.
As a (claimed) Christian, I feel more and more that they organisation of the religion was the worst thing that could have happened to it.

The Judaic religions are autocracies, they make subjects. Christians are nationalists by conditioning.
