takes a lot in the Western world to have a movie truly banned from the cinemas... the tv-ad for The Mechanic was banned in the UK though: "A film advert which featured a man's head exploding and was broadcast during teen show Glee has been banned by the advertising watchdog. The Mechanic showed a "stream of violent imagery", the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said. The advert for the 15-rated movie, starring Jason Statham, prompted 13 viewer complaints.
