Did you notice that he didn't care about the suffering and death being rained down on the Ukrainian people? Not only was there not a word comfort to the victims, but he is almost gleeful about Putin's actions. Oh, yeah, it's bad BUT that's the way god wants it so suck it up people.

Exactly (((SMH))). Well, Protestant FUNDIE stuff anyway. I know some Protestant Christians, & they definitely DO NOT think that way. Ukraine is a Christian country (as was Russia, before it embraced Communism, which it appears to be embracing again, under Putin).

Per these sites, link link Russia is 'more' Christian per capita than the US with ~90% vs 65% to 75%.

One example, "Four out of five doctors recommend..." Anyone with a PHD is a doctor. They might just as well say "Four out of five plumbers recommend..." Not to digress but I am incredulous about the veracity of these statistics considering that throughout the history of the USSR, religious activity was actively discouraged and very often punished. I don't take that from statistics but from the testimony of victims over many years. Still, what do we know for sure.

Sometimes I would like to find something good to say about him, but... I would guess as individuals, Russians are as 'Christian/religious' as UStatians.

No, not "Protestant." Protestants are Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Methodists. Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson and most TV and radio preachers belong to the "Pentecostal" tradition. Most megachurch pastors like Joel Osteen are independent from any denomination but stem from the "fundamentalism" movement of the late 19th century. They might be considered off-shoots of Protestantism, but they are not the real thing.

Just checked out your link. I wish I had done that before posting. You put some words in his mouth for some reason. Trying to thwart God? Please.
