stars and stripes are clever




here in the kingdom of the heart
the latest
in storage modules
arrived
just in time for
the vaporized remains of the ukranian children
who would have
loved the four level pool
we all constructed after the iraqi kids arrived
if they had had any sort of body parts
we could have
haphazardly sewn together.


leave it to men to control
whether
one child fries
while the other
comes out looking like
worn out leather.
