Too much action, from 'Quantum of Solace' to 'Skyfall'.
Too many action scenes, thin plots, Craig is way too serious.
I've only seen the first 3, and got annoyed as hell. Will it improve? Are the next ones better? Hopefully.

Casino Royale is terrific. Skyfall and No Time to Die quite good. Quantum of Solace seems to get worse and worse with each viewing. Spectre, yeah is a bit of chore to sit through.

Skyfall and Casino Royale are two of my favorite Bond movies. Quantum of Solace gets too much hate. No Time to Die was pretty good. I can see why people don’t like Spectre but I didn’t hate it.

Not boring, yet ever trying to propel some macro arc that never pays off.
1. Quantum 2. Casino 3. Die 4. Skyfall 5. Spectre

There's no action in any of them, except the last one. Just noise and a bunch of irritating camera work that looks like a goofy geeky arcade game.
The worst one, of course, is CASINO ROYALE. Total boredom, like you say. Just full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Exotic scenery is a thing of the past. The Craig movies all have dull scenery. Even the more exotic locations are poorly filmed. We have the worst cinematography ever of 007 in the Craig movies, which isn't Craig's fault, of course.
This isn't any nostalgic look at the past. It's just the reality that the cinematography is undeniably inferior. Poor editing, poor directing, and add to that the poor writing, and it doesn't matter who plays Bond, it sucks.
CASINO ROYALE ranks in a tie for worst 007 movie with Goldeneye, Never Say Never Again, the World is Not Enough, and A View to a Kill. Just depressing "hate the audience" crap that Hollywood is famous for shoving down our throats.

Casino Royale and No Time to Die are both strong 8/10's for me, with a slight edge to CR.
Skyfall is mostly good; Spectre and Quantum of Solace are okay.
Spectre is the only one I find (mostly) actually boring. The rest are entertaining 007 movies.

Personally I love Casino Royale, Skyfall and Spectre. I like No Time to Die and highly dislike Quantum of Solace. However of the 6 actors Craig is my least favorite Bond.

A River Thames boat chase scene in the world is not enough isn't hating the audience but it needed more cats.

I enjoyed this era for what it was, but I'm really hoping they get away from so much doom & gloom with Bond's next iteration. I'm not talking a return to the days of Moore-level camp, but dammit Bond movies are supposed to be fun.

You can't have it both ways in terms of it being too gloomy as you say and then complaining of over exaggeration like Rogers's films.

Moore's is my favorite era of the franchise, but I know a lot of posters here feel it was too camp. I thought Brosnan's era balanced the comedy and serious notes pretty well; as did most of Connery's. That's the tone I'd like to see return.

There were plenty of dark moments in Roger's films like him shooting a soldier in the head in broad daylight, a woman being chased by dogs or him kicking a car down a cliff.

The Bond series is definitely the most “Different Strokes for Different Folks” kind of series. Just depends on what you’re looking for. I was personally more bored by some of the Moore films and thought the Craig films pretty exciting, though I like Moore more than Craig in the role.

If you find action scenes boring, you'll probably love Spectre.

There's not much left that can be done for this era of James Bond.
