I saw this last weekend. It has A listers as cast (Michael Douglas, John Malkovich, Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom, Toni Collete) and a decent director, but got a C script. I couldnt believe it. What a shame. Otherwise it would have been so good. It was quite good for the first 35 or so minutes.
Its very relevant because of the terrorism in it so kinda interesting to watch unravel the way it did with Islam there, I just wish it was written better.
Anyone here saw it? What did you think?

The trailer looks really good. It's too bad if they messed it up.

But overall it was still good/fun because of the great cast and fast paced action. Just could have been a lot better with a better script.

Seems like films within this sub genre end up getting very clunky.

Saw it a few weeks ago and I agree. The first part is actually quite good but they drop the ball pretty fast on this one. 6/10 because Im feeling quite mild today.

That's directed by Michael Apted. With him and that cast you'd expect something at least decent. Then again, his career is very all over the place. Sorry to hear it wasn't so good.

Haven't even heard of it. Wait, Michael Apted directed this? Where's he been?

If you switch your brain off it can be somewhat entertaining. Otherwise it's pretty cliche, predictable, very PC and the main premise is plain silly.

I was mostly upset by the end and the twist that made no sense… Yeah, if this was another money-grabbing operation or a bid for more influence (as we've seen a million times before), OK. But killing people in the name of "biological awareness"?
