something about the restaurant name - Italian Steakhouse River - makes me think it's an awesome setting and great atmosphere and i'd show up at 11am and drink/eat until closing or until i was carried out.......  |

First one I think of is Jack Dempsey's. Hey, it was in The Godfather (at least the front of it). I think it's closed now. Joe DiMaggio had a string of Italian eateries, if I'm not mistaken.
