Series starts tomorrow, so I figured I'd get it ready.

I loved the cameo of James Marsden as Cyclops. Glad to see him, from a hugely successful mature superhero franchise.

First episode was a disappointment imo. Instead of being a Bruce Wayne with an Alfred named Samuels and a maid named Nedda, Steven Grant is an English idiot who works in a gift shop at a London museum of Egyptian artifacts. He keeps blacking out and losing time. We don't get to see any of that time. All we get to see is Steven bumbling around like a fucking idiot all the time. The final scene of the episode feels like something out of a Night at the Museum movie, and we don't get to see MOON KNIGHT until the very last shot before the credits roll. I'm not impressed. Yet. I loved the cameo of James Marsden as Cyclops. Glad to see him, from a hugely successful mature superhero franchise. What the hell are ya talking about?

I dug it...but I enjoyed the heck out of all the bumbling around. I laughed quite often.

I'm digging Oscar Isaac in the role. Too early to say whether or not the series is good, but it's definitely got potential.

Theyre certainly setting up pieces in the London area.

My experience with these streeaming shows is that they always start with two moderately promising episodes and then devolve into a half dozen episodes of absolute filler before returning to the main narrative in a mediocre action driven finale that reveals how shallow the story telling really is. (See The Mandalorian, WandaVision ECT)

(See The Mandalorian, WandaVision ECT) Its only 6 episodes so if they start with 2 promising episodes and end with a solid finale that's half the season.

A six episode show should be high quality from start to finish. If only half the episodes are good that is a big problem.

Lol i agree...im just saying there shouldn't be as much fluff since they don't have to stretch anything out. So if there is fluff in a 6 episode season, yea thats a problem.

That was basically how I saw The Mandalorian: a promising 2 episode opener, 3 episodes of low quality filler, and then a decent but hollow finale. I shouldn’t have said “half dozen episodes” because I do still find that this pattern usually applies to shorter streeaming series as well.

Not crazy about the voice in his head. Reminds me Optimus Prime's voice, and that's not a compliment. Also, some of the CGI was a bit rough. Still, a pretty good episode and I'm excited to see what they do.

I remember that commercial! Early 90s, I think.

I thought the first episode was great. Hopefully the series can keep up the momentum.
