I remember that commercial! Early 90s, I think. I used to have a little action figure of that guy.

Not crazy about the voice in his head. Reminds me Optimus Prime's voice, and that's not a compliment. Also, some of the CGI was a bit rough. Still, a pretty good episode and I'm excited to see what they do. Voice in his head reminds me of those Venom trailers, and that's not a compliment.

I hate the idiot main character, the sooner they start showing the action instead of having him blackout, the better. I don't like the CGI costume and it's only going to get worse, going by the trailers. The villain is corny, too. This show sucks, it's like they had no idea what to do with this character and are only using him to open the door to more mystical characters in the MCU. Hopefully any potential cameos make the show worth watching by the time we reach the end.

Watched yesterday. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!! I was expecting a silly, children-oriented, toy-selling parody like "Iron Man 3", "Thor: Ragnarok" or "Spider-Man: Far From Home", and instead I got an intense, brilliant and genuinely thrilling TV show. I think that MCU fans will boycott this. I feel sorry for Oscar Isaac (a true actor)...

Show is getting review bombed in IMDB by Turkish dickheads denying the Armenian Genocide because Ethan Hawke's character mentioned it. Marvel's Moon Knight Is Getting Review-Bombed on IMDbMarvel's Moon Knight is getting review-bombed on IMDB. Now, this isn't your typical fandom squabble but instead a reaction to a quick moment in Episode 1. People noticed that Ethan Hawke's character mentioned the Armenian genocide during a list of bad events from the past that Ammit would have prevented. That led to people ranking it lowly on IMDB. Usually, this practice is tied to people just not enjoying the show or carrying the banner for a competitor but that's not the case here. Multiple people on Twitter have noted the action and there's been no response by Marvel about this yet. Still, fans are very confused to log onto the database and see Moon Knight inundated with so many low scores. Producer Grant Curtis spoke to Collider about Moon Knight and where the character could go next. After that first entry that felt completely different from anything else in the MCU, the sky is truly the limit.
"What I will say is this: because we delve into so many interesting tones in the tapestry we eventually weave together with this show, the action-adventure globetrotting, the bump in the night horror aspects of it, the mental health character study, the humor, I do think wherever [Marvel President] Kevin [Feige] wants this character to go in the future, I don't think there's any corner in the MCU that that Moon Knight cannot inhabit naturally," Curtis explained. "And that is a testament not only to the character on the page, but the character that Oscar Isaac brings to the screen. I would take this amazing cast with me. And if it can't be this cast in the future: People, and artists-men, and crafts-women, who are at the top of their game, just like Oscar [Isaac], Ethan [Hawke] and May [Calamawy] are. That makes my job so much easier when these actors." Did you enjoy episode 1 of Moon Knight? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below! Wow.

So he’s not a vigilante in this series? I bet he’s fighting monsters.

My guess is that Steven is the manifestation of all Marc's guilt.

The second episode wasn't as good as the first. Steven Grant is the worst kind of idiot protagonist. I'm pretty sure I know how this is all going to play out.

Admittedly the invisible fight scene is one I tend to loathe. Ever since Nightmare on Elm Street 4, I always feel cheated when they use the invisible tactic this way. I enjoy the show for the most part tho. The first episode being more enjoyable to me than the second one.

So... worse than all the D+ MCU shows then? Haven't watched this yet... and it's the first time I've not watched an MCU show as soon as it came out. Can't say I'm particularly enthusiastic about doing so.

IIRC you liked WandaVision, I hated that show. So you might disagree with me on this one, too. There are interesting elements to MK, but it lacks on execution. Old school Moon Knight is one of my favorite characters, so maybe my expectations are too high for this show. Plenty of people seem to love it.

Anyway, I told myself I'd wait for this to be complete then just binge it all throughout. Seems to be one of those shows where watching them back to back would be a good choice.

This show isn’t great, but it’s not as bad as the other Disney+ Marvel shows IMO (maybe because it’s only two episodes so far).

No credit scene for episode 3, but there's a little tribute to Gaspard Ulliel, who passed away before the show premiered.
He played Anton Mogart in episode 3.

I liked episode 3. The show hasn't been able to really go back to that vibe it had in episode 1, as I didn't think it'd be able to...but its still enjoyable entertainment.
