That Spider-Man poster (or mural or whatever it was) from the trailer doesn't appear in the finished film but the Daily Bugle does pop up from time to time. There are two mid-credits scenes and no post-credits scenes. In the first mid-credits scene, the purple sky-opening from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home somehow causes Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes to materialise in Morbius's universe inside an empty jail cell. He says something like, "Hope the food's better in this joint." Or something like that. Then he's released from prison because no one in that universe knows who he is. Then in the second post-credits scene, dressed as the Vulture this time, he meets up with Morbius, mentions Spider-Man, and suggests he and Morbius team up to "do some good". Scene raises a coupla questions. How the hell did he get his hands on his Vulture suit when that should still be in the MCU, or did he just figure out how to build himself a new one? And why, when he mentions Spider-Man to Morbius, doesn't Morbius ask who that is? Suggests there's some Spider-Man in Morbius's universe but which one, I dunno. Side note: After the credits were over, like I said, there was no post-credits scene, but the Spider-Man theme from the Raimi movies did start playing. Was that just music my theatre turned on, or is Morbius set in the Raimiverse? I dunno. Second reason to suspect it might be set in the Raimiverse: That bit from the trailer where Morbius pretends to be Venom, that is in the finished film. So that makes it even harder to figure out why he doesn't raise an eyebrow when Vulture mentions Spider-Man to him. Because if Morbius knows about Venom, and he knows about Spider-Man, then how come Venom didn't know about Spider-Man until he was transported to the MCU? Unless the Venom that Morbius mentions isn't Tom Hardy's Venom. Topher Grace's, maybe?

Simple: Topher is the one and only Venom in the Raimiverse.

I guess this film exists within the Venomverse.

Apparently Hans Zimmer’s Batman theme shows up at one point in the movie.

The film wasn't the worst comic book movie ever but holy fuck what a major waste of potential.
Those end credit scenes are random, especially the second one which made zero sense. I guess vulture brought his exact suit from Homecoming with him when he teleported to the Venomverse.

Everything I've read about the director of Morbius during the fall film's release is him cleaning up after Sony he's a glorified rubbish truck collector with a bigger pay cheque and better hygiene.

Y'all people who made those garbage Venom movies hits are to blame. You accepted mediocrity and then thought Sony would actually try harder.

Director Daniel Espinosa has recently spoken about how more scenes with Keaton’s character were included in the original plans for the film, but in the end were removed due to changes with the story and what was happening in the bigger universe. He told Variety: "There was a moment where we were playing more with this idea that it would be more intricate of how people saw each other. When you make movies, you have all these different ideas, and then we made the decision to make it pure and put it toward the end because it's clearer. That's what people do. There's not much more, but there's always a bit on the cutting room floor. Many of those Vulture scenes were shot from the beginning. What had to be changed was the physiology of how to move between worlds."
