Unforgiven. French Connection is one of those wins I don't get, especially when Malcolm McDowell wasn't even nominated.

Bill Dagget is a brilliant combination of cynical humor and lethal brutality, and he fully deserved the Oscar for a movie he almost turned down.
Hackman is one of my top five favorite actors of all time. I really miss him.
