Both Oscars very much deserved but Schindler's List is the greater achievement. From Roger Ebert's review - "The movie is brilliantly acted, written, directed and seen. Individual scenes are masterpieces of art direction, cinematography, special effects, crowd control."

List is the better movie overall, but the D Day landing could be the best directed scene ever.

Tough but I'd go with Schindler's List. Bonus points to the only movie that made me shed a tear.

Shindler's List, as close to perfection as any movie has ever come.

Voted SPR, but I go back and forth between these two.

The D Day landing sequence is bravura filmmaking at its finest. But Schindlers List as an overall movie is beyond amazing.
