Every time I rewatch I’m surprised at how good it looks.
I actually like the way all three prequel movies are shot, this one just gets the edge because it used a lot less iffy CGI when compared to the other two.
That being said, Revenge of the Sith is still easily my favorite of the trilogy.

For one thing, it should be taught film school. On how to implement diversity.

I think it’s Lucas (and by extension, all of Star Wars) at its most confident and motivated. Sometimes it trips over itself, but it’s always heading somewhere with a purpose.

Visually, Episode I is phenomenal. The sets, costume and CGI are top notch. The cinematography is also quite good in that it very much looks like the original trilogy (same cinematographer as ESB). And it certainly helps that it was shot on film (episode 2-3 were digital).

It does have the most lived-in aesthetic of the PT. It just really scuks that Ani was so annoying & Jar Jar was even a thing.
