A truly horrific life... It's a shame she didn't get help before she started killing.
But I guess that could be said for many Killers. She was obsessed with Natalie Merchant's album "Tigerlily"... Her song "Carnival" was played at her funeral as per her request.

I would have to refresh my knowledge of Wuornos but was she the most notorious?
There was a woman that killed her tween daughters, every man that dated her, every man that worked for her except one, and a few others for money. She murdered at every opportunity her whole life. She told her handyman that she would marry him but then she'd have to kill him, he thought it was a joke. Later, the handyman ended up in jail for burning down the house. Firemen found a bunch of bodies buried under the floor. The woman disappeared and was never found.
There was another woman that killed people including her husbands. She was boiling her 2nd husband's head for a stew when the cops walked in. Her mother knew she was a psycho but no one would believe her.

Here in Ontario, there was a woman who worked as a nurse in a seniors' home, & she killed so many of the residences there. Elizabeth Wettlaufer
Then of course, we have Karla Homolka, who helped her first husband rape & kill her own little sister & 2 other girls. She is now a mother of 3 children herself today!!!!

There is a wife - husband team of killers that kidnapped, raped, and tortured, teenage girls, including the wife's younger sister. She even dressed up in her sister's clothes and pretended to be her. Sorry I watch too much too crime and never remember all the names. The wife only got like 8 years in prison because she cut a deal to testify against her husband but they later found she was 100% in on it.

Yes, & as I've already mentioned she is now free & is a mother 3 kids herself!!!! Imagine having to go through life knowing that your own mother or father is a convicted serial killer?!?!?! Oh, & it was 12 years she got. Originally it was only going to be 10, until the police found out about the sister.

I often wish these monsters would fall into the hottest Grease fire... That would be Justice. Instead of living it up in prison for years.
There's several cases that infuriate me...Karla's one of them.

Unfortunately, the justice system has proven untrustworthy in determining who the monsters are or I would agree with you.

The Manson Girls also. Yeah, Charlie was pulling the strings but what Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkle and Leslie Van Houten did was utterly horrific. All that savagery on seven people that did them no wrong and they never laid eyes on until they entered their houses. And they were just kids, kids that never really did anything bad until they got under Manson's spell. You can say "I never would have done that" but I'm sure Pat Krewinkle would have said the same before August, 1969. And Linda Kasabian went along and she never contemplated killing anyone.
