thanks Rust Cohle should have earned Matthew McConaughey a golden globe/emmy - hands down. yeah those are some of my favorites too actually, yeah Matthew McConaugheys Rust Cohle character was just brilliant. In contrast you can see how brilliant Matthew really was because even though Season 2s story wasn't bad the mostly talented cast couldn't make it interesting without Matthews character in it. I will say this, Season 2 of True Detective was a bit too depressing and the ending left without a real conclusion one way or another. Probably made things worse there. Might be why its so universally panned. Either that or Vince Vaughns character. I keep updating and adding more and more as I remember- really make you think of all the shows I watched over the years.

I thought so too. No character I've watched in a TV show could swear quite so inventively as Debra Morgan.

How come Matthew Mcconahay appears kinda dimwitted, but once he gets in front of the camera he blows you away?
Look at Rust Cohle in True Detective. He was made for that role.
