Per Oddschecker -
Browns keep him -220 Carolina Panthers +275 Seattle Seahawks +290 Houston Texans +650 Atlanta Falcons +1500
I'm rooting for the New York Football Giants

I’m still saying he goes to the Panthers - the Panthers simply have to get either him or Jimmy G, they cannot trot out epic bust Darnold again, they would just be spitting in the faces of their fans. And with what I’m hearing, the Niners aren’t particularly impressed with Trey Lance so they may keep Jimmy G another year, whereas it’s clear Baker will never play for the Browns again. So I say he goes to Carolina.

Seahawks. I just have a feeling Carroll is trying to throw everyone off.

Seahawkes or Panthers would make the most sense, but I wouldn't be amazed if the Lions stepped in.

I'll say Panthers. They'll want pedigree, he'll want to rebuild his stock up without any limelight.
Honestly, I think he'd be best fit with the Detroit Lions, but not yet.

Keep your eyes on the Steelers.... It's the Brownies worst fear... Which is why they do not want to release him....Bakes haunting them in Black and Gold for next decade

Not my preferred destination -
But on a positive - maybe Bakes will add some pizzazz to that dud vanilla franchise
Greatest showman to own and run that state since this guy was stylin' and profilin' - going to be royalty down there

I would take him over Sam Darnold. Darnold will score you 5 touchdowns 2 or 3 games and then he can’t get the ball in the end zone the rest of the season. At least Mayfield can score you points.

So now the Panthers have the first and third QB's taken in the supposed QB heavy 2018 Draft. It was supposed to be on a level with the 1983 Draft. Just to compare (and it too early to really judge '18), both drafts had a bust, Todd Blackledge and Josh Rosen. 1983 had two decent QB's, Tony Eason and Ken O'Brien. And three all time greats, Elway, Kelly and Marino. 2018 has two question marks, Mayfield and Darnold and two possible all timers, Allen and Jackson. Just saying, you never can tell. I wanted the Bills to draft Darnold badly. I thought the '18 QB's ranked Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson, Allen and Rosen. shows what I know.

The 2018 draft is the 1999 draft redux, down to the Browns screwing up the first overall pick again (Tim Couch/Bake Mayfield). Josh Allen is Donovan McNabb, Lamar Jackson is Daunte Culpepper, and Mayfield/Darnold/Rosen are Couch/Akili Smith/Cade McNown. Only the '83 and '04 QB drafts have ever been truly special.

The Bills got JP Losman in 2004. Special. About this time last year, the scouts were gushing about the 2022 QB crop. Sam Howell, Kedon Slovis, Spencer Rattler, Malik Willis, Desmond Ridder, Brock Purdy. About the only one nobody shat themselves over was Kenny Pickett. I'm already reading about how there might be 5-7 QB's taken in the 1st Round in 2023. You never know...

Brownies made a HUGE mistake
I can't wait until Week 1 when Bakey lights them up
Don't sleep on the Panthers this year

It was a close encounter in Charlotte. I voted in this poll that Baker Mayfield would become a Carolina Panther this season and he lit it up bigtime with his touchdown deep ball to Robbie Anderson. Christian McCaffrey is another danger man Mayfield can lean on and he scored a touchdown today.
Yet despite Mayfield's heroics, Kareem Hunt was a difference-maker today, scoring a couple of dynamic touchdowns for the visitors; I just hope he stays with the Cleveland Browns after putting in a transfer request this summer.
Drafting a kicker is something the Browns needed to do more than any other team in the National Football League. Cade York stepped up to the moment and made it count, which marks a positive start to the young man's career.
