alarmingly heartening
in five short years you came and went like a storm through a doorway.
and we spent our time doing the things business people do working the soles off of our shoes and rummaging through the pages of bills overdue.
you came and we knew there were a million things to do but we had all the time in the world so we stewed time in a pot on the back burner and thought of fun things and puppets on strings dancing in the stars.
and that is now where you are so we wave hi between the cars the bars where we dull our senses wishing time had been more sensitive and we more aware.
