I will say that writing and acting flaws aside, it's still an entertaining movie overall. If only the flaws it has could be fixed, would we get something much better as a film. Writing and acting flaws aside, it has strengths like Ewan MacGregor, Christopher Lee, and the arena battle near the end. Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) - 2 out of 4 stars
"Ten years after Episode I, Anakin Skywalker is beginning to resent his father figure, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and finds himself falling in love with Padme, the former queen. Lavish production showcases an overlong story that serves mainly as a transition between Episodes I and III in this ongoing saga. Wooden characterizations and dialogue don't help...but the computer-generated Yoda is terrific, and the coliseum action sequence (An homage to Ray Harryhausen) is a knockout. HD 24P Widescreen."
