Obviously not as iconic as Saturday Night Fever had been for Travolta a few years earlier, but still a pretty entertaining movie. And while I'm not a fan of today's country music, back then this really did have a pretty damn good soundtrack, with a lot of big talent. Debra Winger and Madeline Smith (why didn't she have a bigger career?) were sweaty and sexy, Scott Glenn captured the slimy asshole character perfectly, James Gammon and Barry Corbin were good in their supporting roles, and Travolta was believable enough as the flawed hero. 7/10

42 years ...that may be why Travolta looks so much older now ! The music and Scott Glenn make it worth watching if you are not a JT fan !
