Jack Lemmon steals the show. Fairly entertaining actually, albeit its high ceiling of humour & nuance is combined with a pretty low floor of wedging serious war movie genre into a near slapstick script.
Worth a look, just have mild expectations. Its south seas environs alone are great escapism.
