Happy Birthday to the wonderful Eva Marie Saint, one of my favorite actresses of all time.
Born in Newark, New Jersey on July 4, 1924, she's had a phenomenal career in film and television that's lasted over 70 years! In 1951 she married director Jeffrey Hayden and was married to him until he passed away in 2016.  She did some wonderful work in her career, including her Oscar winning role in On the Waterfront (1954): 
Raintree County (1957):  A Hatful of Rain (1957) North by Northwest 1959 Exodus (1960):
All Fall Down (1962): The Sandpiper (1965):  Grand Prix (1966):  The Stalking Moon (1968) Loving (1970):  In later years, she did a lot of work in television, where she began her career back in the days when it was live. For her work, she received five Emmy nominations and won one. Here, as Melissa Gilbert's mother in the tv version of Splendor in the Grass (1981):  And this, in 1995:  What a life, what a career she has had. Happy 98th Birthday, Eva Marie Saint, a woman forever young!
