I was at Barnes & Nobel a few days ago and noticed Timothy Zahn's new(and canon) Thrawn novel on the shelf. I debated getting but ultimately decided against it because only the expensive hard cover was available. As such I didn't want to spend that much without some feedback first.
So if anyone here is reading it, is it worth the $30 purchase price, and how does it compare to the Thrawn trilogy?

Not a big fan of hardcover books.

I "listened" 2 it on CD audio.
It was splendid.
Best Nu Canon novel so far.
It even works with that awful Rebels cartoon.
It takes place circa 5 years after ROTS towards 2 years b4 ANH.
