Do you believe in 2nd chances and can a leopard change it's spots?

Can a human change? Yes
I mean if a 90 year old man was a racist when he was 20. and he stopped being a racist when he was 21 and have since then fought against racism and educated people away from racism. Should he than be judge solely on the 1 year he was a racist or should he be judge on the 69 years he was not a racist?.
Because according to some people it would seem like he should only be judged on the year he was a racist. and all the other 69 years are to be ignored.
Sure if you have murdered somebody or raped somebody that's different. You will always be a murderer and a rapist, but not every racist is always a racist, sexist or a homophobe.

There's no answer I guess, it's subjective.
All's I know is with sports, if Trevor Lawrence throws a Hooters girl off a bridge, he'll be on the Seahawks radar after he's cut... and that's tolerated.
Otherwise why are the Texans forced to ditch Watson? If they play him again, wtf... now he can try to lead The Land to a SB title & have a parade.
Maybe Kyrie should light the Brooklyn Bridge on fire, & KD can film it... they'll be exonerated in Lakers & Blazers unis next week.

Was disappointed to see Christian Bale's name attached to it.
Kind of like Jim Carrey being attached to Sonic the Hedgehog
Not judging - just curious if you liked it - what you liked about it - what was a hit or miss with you.
Apparently a lot of big names have cameos in it
I saw the trailer and thought it looked painstaking to sit through - they're not my cup of tea (I don't know the backstory of the characters - so that's on me). Not judging, we all have different tastes - but everybody goes nuts over those comic book movies - was curious to hear people's reviews on it.

I don't go nuts over them. But I have enjoyed going to see a big dumb action movie more than once in my lifetime and Thor 4 was one of the biggest and dumbest I've seen for a while. It was fine. Funniest cameo for me was Matt Damon who was in a couple of scenes as this untalented pantomime actor who considers himself an artisan. Russell Crowe was fun rocking a Greek accent as Zeus, Sam Neill played Odin in the pantomime, and I was happy to see Indy Evans, a former Aussie tweener star who's last acting credit was Ash vs the Evil Dead, in something again. Bale was actually pretty good. Playing it straight as a tortured angel of vengeance. Portman was good as she was actually given something to do. Tessa Tompson just does nothing for me and never has, even back in her Veronica Mars days. Hemsworth was a lot of fun as always. As a religious person I found the depiction of gods interesting. |
