If someone is alive and well three days after they supposedly died, did they really die?

If someone is alive and well three days after they supposedly died, did they really die? Furthermore, if we all still have to die because of our sins anyway - then what did he really accomplish?

No. The idea that you can transfer responsibility for your bad deeds to another party is some serious bizarro world bullshit. I'm not a fan of Hitchens but he did teach us that.

I don't think The Romans gave him much choice in the matter You don't think the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the universe had a choice in the matter? According to Christianity Jesus was born for the expressed purpose of teaching the ways of God and then to sacrifice himself for our sins.

He sacrificed himself to himself for our sins! Then came back to life to prove he was dead! And therein lay a valuable lesson to mankind: s..something, and stuff.

If you're using the term "sacrifice" to mean losing one's live in service of a cause, yes. If you're using the term "sacrifice" as in ritualistic killing to absolve one from sins like the Jews and other cultures did animal sacrifices then yes, it is a sacrifice.
