I had some as a kid and then when I tried to make egg creams.
INGREDIENTS Sugar and/or Corn Syrup, Water, Cocoa, Dry Milk Powder, Xanthan Gum, Vanillin (an Artificial Flavor), Salt, Preserved with Potassium Sorbate.

I've never had it, so I can't say. I don't particularly care for Hershey's, which is what we always had when I was little. It's kind of gritty, and has an almost acidic background to it.
My favorite domestic chocolate ... so far ... for syrup or candy, is Fran's, which is from your area, Nuts.
I'm no connoisseur of chocolates from Switzerland, or other regions.
