Taking into account basketball, baseball, football, and hockey? I gotta be bias and go with Seattle…

Technically can’t count the Sonics because they currently don’t exist, but this has always been my favorite logo…

Best current logo The Birds on the Bat. Iconic and historic. For a city, I'd have to think on that. Not a big fan of the St. Louis Blues logo. When St. Looie had the Football Cardinals, they would be up there. The cardinal on the helmet is cool

While everyone is getting ready to post massive sets of images ... will sneak in a vintage pin to peruse and this logo ...

Excellent question.
I like the uniformity of Pittsburgh sports teams' colors, but the Pirates logo (the pirate guy's face, not the 'P' which is fine) really drags down the average.
Seattle is a decent option because that new Kraken logo is pretty great, but they're all pretty modern and none have the classic status, and the Seahawks logo is pretty bland and generic.
New York has so many to choose from, but while the Yankees logo is kind of the definition of 'iconic' and both Giants logos are pretty great in there stoicism and solidity, the rest are kind of uninspired. The Knicks logo is fine, the Rangers logo is actually pretty good, the Mets logo is just kind if a ripoff of the Yanks, the Islanders logo is just OK, the Nets is decent, and the Jets logo sucks.
I think Chicago could make a decent claim to the title. I don't know if any of them are the top of the heap, but they have no weak links.

It's incredibly dumb and silly looking, but I have fondness for the old Toronto Raptors logo.

It's incredibly dumb and silly looking, but I have fondness for the old Toronto Raptors logo. The first one yes? I really like it too, alas in this galaxy of apps, it was too busy to keep. For the record, I hate the Chris Bosh era logo... & the all-reds branding.

Quality over quantity, I'll go Calgary. The Flames and Stampeders both have simple yet great logos, for my money. Chicago has awesome logos for its four major teams (and two for baseball, so that's five overall), so they have to be a contender. Then maybe New York. The Jets logo sucks, the Mets logo is cool (if you're talking about the one with the NYC skyline, not just the 'NY'), but I think the Yanks, Giants, Rangers, and Isles all have iconic logos. The Knicks logo never did anything for me. Only the Kraken (and now defunct Sonics) logos are worth mentioning for Seattle. The Maple Leafs logo is solid, the rest of Toronto's logos suck. (No offense guys, I don't expect you all to love Boston's logos, either.) I'm biased enough to appreciate all Boston logos, while still being self-aware enough to understand they aren't universally appreciated the same way. The Bruins and Red Sox (along with this, obviously) logos are iconic, though when it comes to the Pats, I prefer Pat the Patriot to Flying Elvis. The Celtics leprechaun is kind of dorky (but of course I still get a kick out of it), but I like the clover with the team name. The Revs newer logo (right) is alright I guess, though the original is actually pretty clever despite being cliche. They usually have the old school flag of New England on their gear as well. Again, as a history buff and a New Englander I love it, but I'm not going to pretend it's an amazing design.

Might have to go with San Francisco. Nothing really spectacular but nothing that makes me want to puke either. And they all look wonderful on the uniforms. The Giants black and orange is great (anything that doesn't have red or blue stands out), the Niners red and gold unis are top five NFL and the Warriors standard duds are good (excepting the 40,000 variations).
I;m not posting pics, y'all know what the 49ers logo looks like.

Only two pro teams, but both have great logos that incorporate the city.

The American Hockey League Buffalo Bisons had a cool logo
The man who owned them owned all the Pepsi distributors in western NY

No love for the Seahawks logo here. I wonder if people preferred the old logo? I sure did. It was so classic Also, may help if people know it was inspired by a Native American mask. I always thought that was cool

The San Francisco teams do indeed all have fantastic uniforms. The 49ers are basically the perfect example of a mediocre name/logo translating to one of the best uniforms in the league.

Lots of hate for the Seahawks logo here! That’s surprising. I wonder if people preferred the old logo? I sure did. It was so classic Also, may help if people know it was inspired by a Native American mask. I always thought that was cool Not hate, just indifference. I don't think the Seahawks logo is bad, I just wouldn't list it as one of the best logos. The Mariners logo looks like something on a nautical map.

I like the Pat the Patriot logo for it's old timey-ness, but it's not a good design for a sports logo. It's just a picture of an ugly guy, and it's awkward and silly looking on the helmet. But I do kinda like it anyway. The Flying Elvis, on the other hand, is the worst logo in the major 4 sports, but for the exact opposite reasons. It doesn't look like anything, but it's design and composition is like an unimaginative and bland text book example of how you're 'supposed to' compose a logo.

Maybe it’s nostalgia or home team bias but I’ve always loved the baseball compass.

If the Marlins had a better logo I may vote for Miami. The Heat and Dolphins logos have always been among my favs
