I visited Dealey Plaza once, roughly 25 years after the assassination, and the one thing that REALLY leapt out at me, was how spookily similar it looked compared to all the photos and videos I had seen through the years........almost as if I had already been there in my lifetime, even though I never had..... Have you ever visited Dealey Plaza, and if so, what were your impressions of it ??   SAVE FERRIS |

Tried to once but couldn't find any place to park and it was rush hour and traffic was impossible to maneuver... so no.

Yes, a couple of times, the last being sometime in the first decade. I described the shooting to my youngest son, on summer vacation from college, and pointed out the "grassy knoll," a phrase he always got a kick out of. Who thought that one up, anyway?

I did last year, actually. My main takeaway from looking down from the 6th floor is that it's entirely believable Oswald made the shots. And yeah, the whole place looks pretty similar. They even had Xs marked on the street so you know where the car was.

No, but I have a vintage souvenir postcard which shows an overhead view, complete with arrows showing the directory of the shots. I wonder who would buy this postcard and to whom would they send it.

I didn't go there specifically in order to visit Dealey Plaza but I did spend a couple of hours in downtown Dallas some years ago, and walked around that area.
