Recently streamed 1-season series.
In early July, my wife was watching the final episode of a (six part?) series on one of the streaming services to which we subscribe. I walked in while she was watching. The show looked interesting. My wife suggested I watch the entire series from the beginning and I should leave as this was the final show and probably contained a spoiler. I left. Now, unfortunately, she can't remember the name of the show. From what I saw: The main character was a female played by an moderately well known actress. She was on trial for some event related to the company she ran. (This was not an Elizabeth Holmes biography) She was on the witness stand when I left the room. My wife believes that show's title was only one word.

Unfortunately, no. However, your post piqued my interest and wife & I watched it. It was pretty good.

Bit vague. "Bad Banks" on Hulu?

Inventing Anna, on Netflix? I haven't watched it yet but from what I know of it, it could be the one you are looking for. The main actress is the one who played Ruth in "Ozark".
