I think it just really depends on how well the 2nd movie is received. Truthfully the sequel does seem kinda odd with its casting choices. Hopefully they know what they're doing.

It is a comic book movie based on a character that spun-off the New Mutants. Has there ever been a superhero movie that didn't have or wasn't meant to have sequels?

Nothing that has any kind of success is going to be passed up for sequel or spin-off potential. And Deadpool is supposed to have many adventures, so...
But, yes, some things should be one off's and left alone. If they ever make a sequel or reboot of E.T. I will flip the fuck out!

I can completely understand how people would be turned off by Deadpool (he's obnoxious & vulgar) but I thought it was a great time at the movies . The audience I saw it with was dying laughing throughout the entire film . Looking forward to the sequel(s) .

I just feel like Fox shouldn't meddle with it too much and just give Reynolds free reign. Though with the way they cast Cable I feel it may already be too late.

I think the style might not be as fresh the second time around. Almost like what everyone was worrying would happen with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
