Well in that case it still is an obsession. The media cannot go one day without mocking Trump as much as they can. To be fair, it is his own fault for giving them so much to mock. I cannot deny that. The man is a buffoon. However, the constant media bashing is still very annoying. I think CNN was covering a story today about how he did not put the seat back down after taking a piss at the White House. More to follow.

It's not a season finale, but during the latest (BBC America) episode of Doctor Who, Bill made a laugh out loud reference to Trump.

Funny, I thought the entire 2016 presidential campaign season was an entire Trump lovefest. As in all the coverage given to Trump between the news channels. You must have a weird definition of love. I was using "lovefest" figuratively speaking, either way, networks love advertising revenue. And covering Trump between the will-he-won't-he announcement process to the election, that was the best way to get it with their coverage guaranteeing eyeballs watching. Don't get me started on what differences there are between the major news networks. The way some people feel there's no difference between the two major political parties, there's not much difference between the broadcast/cable networks which are all corporate owned.

Is calling people you disagree with "idiots" supposed to show you're less of a drunk than your uncle? Well I could go into more detail, but there was nothing intellectual about his election campaign. Nothing. How people couldn't recognise he was winging it the entire time is beyond me. He sounded like a general running for office in the Congo. The guy is a baboon, a disaster from start to finish. You over-estimate the intelligence of many Americans.

There was no time for shows to react to the unexpected election results early in the year, but toward the end of the season the cheap pot shots specifically aimed at Trump were obvious. So, what you are saying is, you are an overly sensitive snowflake... No. I was making an observation about the current television season. It's called free speech, expressing your opinion. That's what these forums are for. You seem to have your terms confused. Allow me to enlighten you. A "snowflake" would have demanded that people boycott these shows, or said that the people who wrote them should be fired, or begged for some "free zone" to be built where they didn't have to listen to the shows.

Even though I love the show, Agents of Shield also had a "fake news has won the world" storyline going on.
American liberals really have big sticks up their arses.

Incorrect. That actually also falls under free speech.

Wrong. A "snowflake" is a person who is overly sensitive and fragile. Like you!

Wrong. A "snowflake" is a person who is overly sensitive and fragile. Like you! Well, what do you know? I seems I was a little behind the times when it comes to slang terms. Just a short while ago, the term “snowflake” actually had a meaning – it referred to liberals who were starting riots on campuses because they didn’t want to hear conservative speakers talk and others who wanted “safe spaces” where they wouldn’t have to hear anybody mention the name of the current President. They were considered so delicate that they were dubbed “snowflakes” because it appeared they would melt at the first sign of the heat of hearing an opposing conservative argument. That why I objected to someone calling me that; I am a solid conservative who believes in free speech. But I read up on the term last night and found that now it has degenerated into a cheap pejorative to be hurled at anyone who says something you don’t want to hear – just say they’re overly sensitive and call them a snowflake. If I had realized that, I wouldn’t have even bothered to comment on it. I guess that’s what I get for not spending a lot of spare time reading up on the latest slang terms. Never mind.
