Just re-watched Streets of Fire, and had a blast by doing so. Wished way more musical themed action-adventures releases, would be made during the 80s, but I guess the film did not become a big enough money attraction, which also would hurt Michael Pare and Diane Lane, as they seemed to have some early on potential as leading actors, but too many big budget box office flops, did not exactly help out. Lane probably went on for a much better career, at least in doing more famous and later releases, while Pare, well, the last time I saw him, he was destroyed in a pathetic excuse of a "fight" with a fat and sweaty Steven Seagal piece of crap DTV/VOD release, some years back.
Anyway, here are my picks for the worst that I have seen coming out of 1984:
01. Jungle Warriors - 1/10 02. The Party Animal - 3/10 03. Sidewalks of Bangkok - 3/10 04. Weekend Pass - 3/10 05. The Blood Of Others - 3/10 06. Joy Of Sex - 3/10 07. Don’t Open Till Christmas - 3/10 08. Oddballs - 3/10 09. Night Patrol - 3/10 10. The Warrior and the Sorceress - 3/10
I guess my only "excuse" for wasting time on something as awful as Jungle Warriors, was knowing the lovely Sybil Danning had one of the leads. But yeah, that went well, NOT!

But yeah, that went well, NOT! Streets of Fire is another big difference in taste. It think that movie is boring. Not terrible. That one I rate 4.5/10. Not a fan of Walter Hill in general though, though I prefer almost all his other movies to Streets of Fire. I am a fan of 48 Hours though and a few others. Extreme Prejudice and Johnny Handsome I am a fan of too. I am sure my lists would look a lot different if I watched as many bad movies as you do. I have seen none of the movies in your worst 10 or even heard of any of them.

Yeah, I do have my fair share of regrettable movie experiences, and even then, I am always curious when looking them up sometimes, to see how many people have given them a "perfect" 10/10. Probably a lot of jokers, but then again, there might be a few die hard lovers. Either that, or people who actually made or worked on the film. The only Walter Hill film I never quite enjoyed, at least as much as I have wanted, because of the strong cast, were Last Man Standing, it just felt so rushed and "weak" compared to his more hard hitting and powerful action-thrillers. Southern Comfort, Hard Times, The Warriors and 48 Hrs. is probably my favorites, but Extreme Prejudice and The Driver are among those I feel might climb up a bit, with another later visit. As I was just reminded so, when doing it with Southern Comfort earlier this summer. Trespass is also another little enjoyable action-thriller, that I might re-visit soon. Had actually almost forgot Johnny Handsome, and that is also one I would put not far off Trespass, as maybe not great, but comes with such a strong cast, and some fine performances, that it is hard to leave out.

I also enjoy Southern Comfort. I suppose I would say I have mixed feelings about Walter Hill, but when I say I am a fan of a director I mean that I actively seek out movie they direct. Walter Hill is middle of the road for me, though in terms of every director who has directed more than 5 movies he is definitely more on the positive side. If I were to averga eout all my ratings for his movies it would probably be 6/10. I am indifferent to The Warriors. I can understand the appeal, it just doesn't do much for me personally. No emotional investment in what is happening and that is a very important aspect of movie watching for me, emotional investment. I think I rated it 6/10 last time I watched it. I respect the movie, but I have no desire to watch it again.

Sword Of The Valiant - How on earth did Sean Connery end up in this trainwreck?
Mr. Wrong - Laughable Kiwi movie about a haunted car
Ordeal By Innocence - Underwhelming Agatha Christie adaptation
Dog Day - Middling French action thriller with Lee Marvin
Blood Simple - The Coen's debut is a painful slog through noir clichés
