10 "greats" from around 183 seen and rated 1987 titles:
Now we are finally talking about the bottom of the barrell trash, most were so boring, so bad, that every second, felt like a lifetime.
01. Twister’s Revenge! - 1/10 02. Evil Spawn - 2/10 03. Hawken’s Breed - 2/10 04. Deathrow Gameshow - 2/10 05. Hunk - 3/10 06. Creepozoids - 3/10 07. Berserker - 3/10 08. Return to Horror High - 3/10 09. Teen Wolf Too - 3,5/10 10. The Video Dead - 3,5/10

Teen Wolf Too - 3,5/10 10. The Video Dead - 3,5/10 Here is one I disagree about. The Video Dead, while far from good, is an entertaining bad movie and actually quite creepy at parts. I also have a soft spot for Return to Horror High. I'll take both of those over all The Howling sequels for example, with maybe the exception of The Howling V.

The Video Dead did not exactly "benefit" of being tied along with the far more enjoyable TerrorVision on double DVD/Blu-ray combo from Scream! Factory, and Return to Horror High, I just fell off, way too early, and was bored to sleep by halfway through. Did not help out much, that Return to Horror High arrived with a DVD artwork, which sold it as something very different, than what I felt one got out of it. Just a classic case of poor impulse purchase.

Just a classic case of poor impulse purchase. TerrorVision is technically better than The Video Dead, but I enjoy them about equally. Not a fan of either though. I'd say TerrorVision is an average movie and The Video Dead is decent for a movie that looks like it was made on a shoestring budget with barely a working screenplay. Perhaps if I had watched them back to back I would have felt differently, but I watched them years apart. I honestly don't remember much about TerrorVision other than thinking it was a watchable horror movie. I have it rated as 5.5/10. The Video Dead I rate a generous 5.0/10. I am very specific with my ratings.
