Anyone see this? I haven't, but the thought of Steve Martin, one of the WASP-iest actors to ever live starring as some Italian gangster seems interesting. Apparently this was considered a companion piece of sorts to Goodfellas, as strange as that may sound.

Huh, never heard of that one.
Incidentally, Steve Martin does look like he's trying to cosplay as Ray Liotta.

Apparently this was considered a companion piece of sorts to Goodfellas, as strange as that may sound. The similarity and the connection were intentional. It was written and directed by Nora Ephron who was married to Nicholas Pileggi at that time. Pileggi wrote Wiseguy, the book which Goodfellas was based on.

I don't remember a whole lot of it. Except for it has some actor who was also in parenthood. the actor who kept appearing in steve martin films for some reason. The same actor who was in the music video don't worry be happy.
