This is so cool. WB/DC finally did it and it took a woman to do it. Go figure. I guess this guarantees that Batgirl movie plus Gotham City Sirens? I'm sure Batgirl will get made for sure.

I'm glad that the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. DCEU really needs this right now, and I do think Wonder Woman deserves a good movie (otherwise she might never get one again, like Green Lantern).
One does have to wonder, however, how much of the positive reviews are based on this movie being marketed as a feminist movie, similar to the latest Ghost Busters.

Yeah that was a bust (hahaha) I don't think this is it remotely, that one raised serious red flags. this one dosen't. Or at least i'm not aware of any. In ghostbusters there were countless reports of it being bad, the production troubled, female washing the characters etc etc this one as far as i know, went smoothly, the character was always been a female, the origin story follows the comics, the ww1 seems fitting etc etc, there is nothing to indicate this is another Ghostbusters. Even that only has a 73% on rotten tomatoes with a 6.5 average score.

I feel like a spokesman for Chris Stuckmann's at this point lol, but go watch his review on YouTube. He is the only critic I truly believe and he NEVER gives spoilers. In short, though, he said that the movie is very equal and plays women to be strong as well as the men. He said that he never felt a bias at all. He even compared it to Ghostbusters (2016), which he said was almost trying to make him feel bad for being a man. According to Stuckmann's at least, WW is the opposite.

So up to yet it's higher than any Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
Intact it's gotta be higher than any modern superhero movie hasn't it? Even The Dark Knight only got like a 94% I think.

While I'm sure the feedback is at least partially political (see Ghostbusters), this is excellent news. The last few years have been really hard on me as a DC fan.

97 right now.34 positives, 1 negative. Must've been an MCU fan who posted that lone negative review. It has 2 negative reviews. 1 by Luke Buckmaster, who also gave 'rotten' reviews for Doctor Strange, CA:CW, Batman v Superman, Ultron, both Thors, The Wolverine, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, Superman Returns and 'fresh' reviews for X-Men: First Class, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Dark Knight Rises, Other by Steve Rose Fresh: The Lego Batman Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, Days of Future Past, CA: TWS No Rotten CBMs but WW... How does it feel to be wrong again?

"There's no accounting for taste." I mean, I like TDKR, but I think you've got to be absolutely bonkers to think it's better than The Avengers or Civil War...

I think if Rose were a MCU fan he probably would have reviewed more than just GOTG and CA:TWS...so I believe he's not a Marvel fan like Anne Hathaway fan suggests.

I'm glad the reviews (so far) have been extremely positive. I was shocked to see an RT rating of 97%. I was predicting somewhere near 41-43% if even that. DCEU has had a difficult time as of late faring well with critics and audiences alike. It's nice to see the change. I hope the momentum keeps going.

This is the death nail for the Snyderverse. When JL is a POS people are gonna be pissed. One step forward and two steps back. He'll never direct another DC film. I kinda hope he doesn't. Let's face it... I loved MOS...but most of that love is simply because it's a Superman film. Looking back at it...it's kind of drab. And yeah I liked BvS...but it just wasn't right. So yeah...I hate to say it, maybe it's best he's stepping away.

I think critics will be kinder to Snyder and Justice League because of what happened to his daughter. I don't think it's gonna do a WW RT score, but it'll get better critical treatment than BVS. They should not give him a pass because of what happened to his family of course. The movie should be judged solely on its merits. But I think that is what will happen. Regardless of what the critical rating may be, I have high hopes for JL due to Aquaman.

That is exactly how it will play out. I mean, I liked BvS, but I understand that the vast majority of the others that saw it didn't like it. Snyder's Justice League will be the same: Divisive. It's sad for those that like Snyder (as I do myself). However, his style is an acquired taste. It doesn't mean if you like him you're intelligent or if you hate him you're dumb (or vice versa); his style is something you either love or hate. Simple as that. That's not what a blockbuster is going for, though. So yeah, he's done after JL.
