This is the death nail for the Snyderverse. When JL is a POS people are gonna be pissed. One step forward and two steps back. He'll never direct another DC film. I agree. That is exactly how it will play out. I mean, I liked BvS, but I understand that the vast majority of the others that saw it didn't like it. Snyder's Justice League will be the same: Divisive. It's sad for those that like Snyder (as I do myself). However, his style is an acquired taste. It doesn't mean if you like him you're intelligent or if you hate him you're dumb (or vice versa); his style is something you either love or hate. Simple as that. That's not what a blockbuster is going for, though. So yeah, he's done after JL. I love Snyder's style. Just don't like his direction. Those are two very different things. I love both the style and direction of for instance Tim Burton (he has his stinkers also). As you say these kinds of directors that have a very particular style you like them or not, but the thing with snyder is I like his style. I said it many times before, he could be an executive producer in the DCEU doing stuff and let other directors to helm the movie, like Tim Burton in nightmare before christmas, lucas in empire etc. See it as a tv show, where the showrunner takes the decisions but the directors, well, direct. This manages to give a certain style to the productions, but keep it fresh with different people.

I tried to use the Wayback Machine to look up the Rotten Tomatoes ratings of other superhero movies when they had a similar number of reviews. This what I could find.
Wonder Woman - 97% - 76 reviews - 7.7 average rating
The Avengers - 94% - 104 reviews - 8.0 average rating -> Eventually 92% (-2%) & 8.0 average rating (+-0.0) Captain America: Civil War - 94% - 83 reviews - 8.0 average rating -> Eventually 90% (-4%) & 7.6 average rating (-0.4) Doctor Strange - 93% - 84 reviews - 7.3 average rating -> Eventually 90% (-3%) & 7.3 average rating (+-0.0) The Dark Knight Rises - 87% - 68 reviews - 8.3 average rating -> Eventually 87% (+-0%) & 8.0 average rating (-0.3)
So I think an eventual 93%+ Tomatometer and a 7.5 - 7.9 average rating is becoming more and more a possibility.

3rd rotten review, now at 96% (just one more fresh review was needed for 98% ). Now 6 fresh reviews are needed to get it back to 97%. The person who wrote the rotten review is Jeff Beck. He seems to be against many movies that many people like. These are a few reviews I found on his first page, so the first 50 reviews. He's the person who gave the only rotten review to The Wailing (99%) & one of only 2 people who gave a rotten review to Get Out (99%). He also gave a rotten review to Love & Friendschip (98%), Hell or High Water (97%), The LEGO Batman Movie (90%), Doctor Strange (90%).

Hell I'm still happy with a 96%. Of course it's still a great rating, much better than almost anyone expected it to be.

Okay so...it looks like RT has made a mistake. A negative review has been posted, but it's a review for 'Baywatch', not WW. Despite that though, the review is being counted as a negative review for WW...

I'll send an e-mail to them telling them or their mistake. Edit: Nevermind, they already removed it.

WW is Certified fresh now. 95% , 5 Rotten I don't know much about RT to be honest. I take it once it's certified that there's slim chance that it'll turn rotten right?

You I guess. lol, for whom the linguistic bell tolls. But don't you worry dude, these neologisms might originate from another (native) tongue you speak, eg in German and other languages one would rather refer to "Sargnagel" (coffin nail), not death knells (bells, Grabgeläute) or cancer sticks.

May it is based on minimum number of fresh reviews and tomatometer %. From the Rotten Tomatoes site: "To receive a Certified Fresh rating a movie must have a steady Tomatometer rating of 75% or better. Movies opening in wide release need at least 80 reviews from Tomatometer Critics (including 5 Top Critics). Movies opening in limited release need at least 40 reviews from Tomatometer Critics (including 5 Top Critics). A TV show must have a Tomatometer Score of 75% or better with 20 or more reviews from Tomatometer Critics (including 5 Top Critics). If the Tomatometer score drops below 70%, then the movie or TV show loses its Certified Fresh status. In some cases, the Certified Fresh designation may be held at the discretion of the Rotten Tomatoes editorial team."

Having just seen it, 95% is way too high for this. I expect on IMDb it'll reach 7.3 range after release. It's a good film, but it doesn't break new ground or anything. I suppose I had quite high expectations. There's something about the overly saturated look to these films I'm just not a fan of, I much prefer the more muted colour tones in Christopher Nolan's Batman films.
Man of Steel was better and that's rotten on RT. It was however a return to form for DC, especially after Suicide Squad and not DCEU related, The Killing Joke.
