What, exactly, keeps you coming back ??
As scripted, the SAME two teams are meeting for the Championship for the THIRD straight year (talk about league 'parity'), after one of the most lackluster playoffs in years, teams tanking has become routine, with owners OPENLY admitting as much, in a league where JOURNEYMEN players are being paid HUGE sums of money, giving them little incentive to come out night after night and truly play hard, while coaches now regularly employ "strategies" like resting (YOUNG!) star players on any given night (and thus, whether they admit it or not, giving PAYING fans the 'finger', who go to the trouble of actually attending games in HOPES of seeing the 'stars' play), so they will be "fresh" at the end of the unnecessarily prolonged NBA season, should their team ACTUALLY make the playoffs........only to be left out of the money, when one of the same three or four teams ends up playing for the 'crown' almost every single year.Anyone ?? SAVE FERRIS

Well...least look at this years playoffs, just GSW and Cle.
Lets do GSW:
They get to face Portland without their big rim protector Nurkic, huge blow for Portland.
Next, GSW dont have to face Clippers, and like clock work, Blake goes down. They face Utah, with no Hill. Wow, another break.
GSW are down to the Spurs by 20+, and Zaza does a dirty play imo, and down goes Leonard. They already lost Parker. No Parker/no Leonard, jesus. Next, even David Lee went down!
No Leonard/no Parker/No Lee and no Kurkic and no Hill. Man, talk about all the breaks.
Now Cleveland.
First, they got to avoid Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls. I really wanted Indiana out, and those two in. Look at what Chicago was doing to Boston....and Rondo goes out, and they go 0-4. Heat was a really hot team, now of course if the Heat did get in, theyd faced Boston and Chi faces Cleveland, but look how close the Indiana games were. Chicago could have taken it to Cleveland, at least 5-6 games.
Next, Toronto and Kyle Lowry goes down. That's a wrap.
Lastly, Boston and fn Isiah Thomas goes down. Jesus...not only that, East is pretty fn weak as is. That sucks, the injury bug can hit anyone at anytime. Portland needed Kurkic, Utah needed Hill, SAS NEEDED AT LEAST LEONARD or Parker and Lee, they couldnt afford to lose all 3! (Lee was probably the one theyd wanna lose out of those 3).
Indiana had nothing, Heat would have been more fun. Chicago (With Rondo) Vs Cleveland. Heat Vs Boston, those are both fun series.
No Lowry...no I. Thomas. Jesus man...and that's been the story of these playoffs....injuries. Im glad though Cleveland and GSW are at full strength, no excuses, power on power. I hope we get a 7 game series!

I'm sure you'd prefer a Portland/Toronto Finals. I wanna see teams with different color jerseys win, dammit!

SAVE FERRISmy hometown team (the sixers) have been the laughing stock of the NBA over the last 4 years or so. i'm fascinated by them because there's been this giant plan ('the process') set in place to pretty much take over the league in the next couple of years. i just find the whole thing fascinating. ever see the movie 'The Departed' with Jack Nicholson? it's like when he plants and grooms young criminals to go in the police force (Matt Damon) and has the patience to watch everything unfold for years where he's going to eventually benefit in the end.
