JOE has released the results of its end-of-season table for television pundits from the various channels. No place for Mark 'wake me when it's over' Lawrenson. No place for the gushing Garth 'Where's me clipboard?' Crooks. And perhaps surprisingly no mention of the BT's/BBC's (ever-present, it seems, by the number of times he pops up on various shows) Martin Keown. John Hartson, who does have his moments when he can be arsed, is also a non-runner. Good to see renegade ranter Chris Sutton pushing for a top four finish and it's fair to say that Jermaine Jenas, a top half finisher, has had an articulate and well reasoned campaign. His ratty exchange (clip enclosed in link) with Alan 'I'm the Daddy' Shearer at the Spurs/CFC Wembley semi showed that he is not fazed by the old school Big Boys in the MOTD studio. Not sure I agree very much with the final standings (Gary Neville 2nd, and Didi Hamann inexplicably at 8th?) The absence of Ruud Gullit is also a bit of a puzzler. I find the big man usually has something quite interesting to note, in his own humorous and quirky way. Nothing doing either for the BBC's Danny Murphy, Pat Nevin and the personable but over-excitable Kevin Kilbane. I suppose we should be grateful that the ghastly Phil Neville is finally starting to reduce the speed of his voice as he concentrates more on commentaries than punditry, and he languishes in the murky depths of the table in 18th.

Delighted for Carra and amazed too, found him a bit embarrassing when he got too excited a few times this season, he's still like a kid at times. Also like GNeville ![](http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e41/imdbv2/imdbsmileys/no.gif) , Souness, Keane, Shearer, Hamman, Lampard and well done Merse and the rest of the Soccer Saturday lads. ![](http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e41/imdbv2/imdbsmileys/clap.gif)

Don't have Sky. Surprised Danny Murphy doesn't get a mention. My faves? Ian Wright, Shearer, Roy Keane. Hoddle and Lee Dixon aren't too bad. No mention for them though.
