I keep hearing it on a country radio station here and I really like it...but I don't know the title of it. It's sung by a female artist. I've tried typing the lyrics into Google Search to find it, but no such luck (nor have I had any luck checking the playlist for the radio station). The lyrics I managed to take note of in the song (not necessarily in this order):
"no strings, no hearts, no rings"
"if you're down and getting up to no good"
"chasing your heart, calling your phone"
If anyone could manage to find this song and let me know, it'd be most appreciated.

Someone at the radio station itself might be able to provide the info via e-mail or phone if none of the INTK guru's come up with the answer.

Search the station's playlist for the date and time it was played.

I thought of one more piece of information: I'm fairly certain the song's probably a 'recent' sort of one. I highly doubt it's an old song. I keep hearing it on a country radio station here and I really like it...but I don't know the title of it. It's sung by a female artist. I've tried typing the lyrics into Google Search to find it, but no such luck (nor have I had any luck checking the playlist for the radio station). Someone at the radio station itself might be able to provide the info via e-mail or phone if none of the INTK guru's come up with the answer. It's not one of the main/more 'known' radio stations, but an obscure digital radio station - so there's not really any number to call them on that I know of. Search the station's playlist for the date and time it was played. That was the first thing I tried to do after I heard it on the radio again, but had no luck finding it.

What’s the station? Not sure if I’ll be of any help, but I can look.

What’s the station? Not sure if I’ll be of any help, but I can look. It's a digital radio station called iHeartCountry Australia. Not sure if it'd be in other parts of the world. Half Broke Heart lyrics ... no INtK lines ... Songwriters: Luke Laird, Tyler Johnson, Camaron Ochs. For non-commercial use only. Sorry to say that's not the song I'm looking for. Thanks, though.

Hey Chalice_Of_Evil, don’t know if you’ve already done this, but I emailed iHeart. Will let you know if I hear back. Something I know about iHeart Radio is that they usually include bios of the singers/songwriters and sometimes include the lyrics as well. Not sure how you’re listening (I usually listen to iHeart through an iPad, and I know it includes the singers there), but that might be good to check if you haven’t already.

Also, if we can’t find it here, Reddit’s Tip of My Tongue board is good for these things. It’s no IMDb v2.1, naturellement, but they may be more up on modern songs than I am!

Hey Chalice_Of_Evil, someone got back to me and said he could help, so I sent him the lines you remember.

That’d be a hoot! “By the way, do you know the name of the mysterious man who sang Cole Porter songs in Sleuth?” “Absolutely, his name was Aloysius Singlorenhorsen. Is there anything else I can assist you with?”

Hey, Chalice_Of_Evil, iHeart got back to me and said they couldn’t figure out the song. That strikes me as weird, but nevertheless that’s what they said. As I wrote above, Reddit’s Tip of My Tongue might be a good place to ask, or you can see if there’s a title/songwriter bio the next time the song comes on.

Well, I'm not signed up with Reddit and even if I was, knowing my luck, my question most likely wouldn't be answered. I have, however, been constantly listening to IHeartCountry Australia each day in the hope of hearing the song again...but, of course, I haven't heard the song since. All I can guess is the one time in the day it's being played is the brief period of time I'm not listening (because obviously I can't listen 24/7).

I finally found it! What finally helped me solve the mystery of who sung that^ song was hearing this song... I'd actually heard this^ song last year and had considered that maybe it was the same singer, but had no luck finding the title of it or the artist either. However, since then I'd discovered some other songs by an artist named Melanie Dyer (which I'd liked) and I at long last decided to try searching a list of her songs today. Lo and behold I saw the title of one song which was the one I'd been searching for all this time!
