Live 1980 DualDisc - Is the only album from this band to get.
Even though this is a dvd. It has an audio only side, that you can play on a cd player. For one thing, it has the best version of certain songs on it. Which is better than the studio version. I'd say if you like rockin music. This is the only album by this band worth getting. Also, their songs I think sounded better live but maybe that's just me.

I saw 'Freedom Of Choice' voted the greatest album of all time earlier this year/.
On the point of live "raw" versions, this seems to rage nowadays with every band associated with the original punk cycle of the 1970s. But isn't the advantage of living today that you can hear the live (various) and studio recordings made available and make up your own mind? Or, are you standing against the general notion as a matter of principal?

I'm saying, as far as other bands, from around the same time , for example the talking heads:
People say, hearing this band live is the way to go like on their first live album. But I say no, the talking heads sounded better in the studio.
But devo are a band best heard live.

But is Talking Heads' celebrated 1977 live album really live? I don't know and I live for all that stuff.
Talking Heads were certainly an acclaimed studio band who were questioned for their muting of their sound by ... was it actually Brian Eno of Roxy Music? ... much like Devo, dude ? ... and did Television part ways with Eno for their own rock 'n' roll reasons or was it really "fake news"?"!?
