Black Sabbath has been copied so many times that they even inspired an entire genre (doom metal)

If there were a single person who invented the blues, that honor would go to them.

IMO Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio and Ozzy were all very influential. The last two of course, fronted different versions of Black Sabbath, the band mentioned by the OP. For example: GAMMA RAY - "Solid" (2001)JUDAS PRIEST - "Rapid Fire" (1980) SACRED GATE - "The Battle of Thermopylae" (2013)IRON MAIDEN - "Alexander the Great" (1986) ASTRAL DOORS - "Pull the Break" (2005)DIO - "I Speed at Night" (1984)

Dylan by a mile, every bugger that ever strapped on an acoustic wanted to be the new Bob Dylan.
