Your Feeling About The Beatles ??

Great band with 3 great songwriters. I think you need to be honest though and say that they were obviously a studio band only for half of their life and a lot of that was helped by George Martin. I never felt they were as far ahead of the competition as others claim, certainly not as a singles band where they put out an awful lot of very lightweight stuff.
Stones, Who and Kinks all stand up there with them as equals for 60's 45's output imho. Beatles had the edge with 33's though.

They deserved their status as superstars but a few bands surpassed them in the 70s, mostly English bands. It should be understood, though, that they were far better at writing songs than they were at playing instruments. They always made it look easy but they spent an awful lot of time in the studio.

Anybody who does not consider them great, knows nothing about music and their opinion should be ignored.

They are one of the greatest bands of all time, if not the greatest.

I chose the They Are Great option. I think that they're probably the best band. I don't like every album of theirs but I like more albums of theirs than anybody else's and they were very innovative. As far as the best artists of all time, however, I would say that Susumu Hirasawa as a solo musician gives them some stiff competition. The Beatles were better than P Model but Susumu Hirasawa has proven to be a greater solo musician than any of the Beatles.

He's a Japanese avant garde musician who is most famous for doing the soundtracks for several anime: Berserk, and three of Satoshi Kon's works including the series Paranoia Agent, Millennium Actress, and Paprika.

I know that many other people won't gel with his style of music but I've liked his music for a long time, even though I can't speak Japanese.
