My recollection is that this dates from a TV talk show circa 1960 that was done in black-and-white. It was possibly the Tonight show. The well-endowed actress is on the left. During the interview, a white squiggly line appears across the bottom of the screen. As the line rises, we realize that it represents a water level that is rising. It stops rising part way up the screen. A drawing of a boat appears at the right of the screen and proceeds to the left, stopping before reaching the actress. Then a cartoon stick figure (the captain) emerges from the bridge, and stares at the actress’ chest through binoculars or telescope. Neither the host nor the actress show any knowledge of this as they talk.
