Semi-biographical account of Eminem's life and career. Not bad, but sometimes feels longer than its 112 minute runtime. I remember people saying this might launch Eminem's film career. Safe to say, it didn't, which isn't to say he did a bad job. He won an Oscar for this movie...for the song "Lose Yourself."

It's "Saturday Night Fever" but with rap... and that's ok.

This film should never have been as good as it was. Much better than all the other rap star origin stories we've had since.

The ending rap battle is the best: "His name is Clarence and he lives with both parents!". For quite a while I didn't realize that was the Falcon himself, Anthony Mackie that was Clarence.
