So do you agree or disagree, is Kriya Yoga the greatest proof of God?

I read Yogananda's autobiography many years ago. A real page turner full of fascinating stories. In retrospect, though, it seems like a fundraiser or something similar, somewhat along the lines of "Dianetics" but a different approach. From all I can gather, you have to join the Self-Realization Fellowship to learn Kriya Yoga and you pay for lessons.

Kriya Yoga might have its benefits. But to call it ANY kind of proof of God (let alone "The Greatest Proof of God") is to simply redefine "proof" to suit one's own aims.

To get Kriya Yoga that Yogananda speaks about you have as you said be a member of Self-Realization Fellowship or Ananda. and you have to pay for the lessons in SRF, I am not sure if you have to pay for the lessons at Ananda.

I looked up Ananda after you posted this and since then I have getting banner ads for them on this site. I wonder if anyone else has.

This certainly has some interest value, but in no way does it furnish 'proof of God'.
