Well, Peter, that "Where's Hope?" line delivery was certainly.... a choice...
John showing a family slideshow to Marlena on a rooftop is sweet, I guess; although that setting for some reason looks cold as hell to take someone out on their deathbed. Which would track for late November/Early December, or whenever this stuff will air. The emotional turmoil is also undermined by no doubt finding a way to send them back somehow.

That blue lighting they use sure doesn't help anything with the sets but I do think some of those moments look sweet. I prefer Jarlena when he's not gnawing her face off.
I think the trailer looks good. But then again I thought the fall preview looked good and so far the fall has been a big snooze.
I really hope the show gets better. But the cast is too big and they are focusing on all the people we don't want to see. I bet if you asked anyone they would say they want to see Jack and Jennifer and not some of these other characters wasting time on screen.

Well Leafs, I think that Days has a bigger budget now and some of the characters you’re seeing on the show now won’t be on the show when they return. If you noticed, Matthew Ashford, Cady McClain, Emily O’Brien, Tamara Braun and Lauren Koslow weren’t at the Day of Days Event. Although I’m sure that Lauren is probably still on the show. But I’m sure Peacock can offer more of a budget than Sony and NBC were offering. It’s a whole new ballgame for Days and I heard that it’s pretty successful on Peacock.

Based on the preview it looks like Kate dies. That would be quite the twist.
I am not surprised EOB is gone, there's nothing on the show for her. And they refuse to want to write for Jack or Jennifer. I still can't believe they brought Roark back for one episode. What a waste!

The trailer gave me the impression that all three will seem to "die," which would lead into the whole "Kate didn't make it," and Belle crying for wanting her mom back. But based on the scene of them seemingly in heaven - kind of looks like the set they had Bo in for BS2 - I'd guess they'll meet someone, maybe the angel lady Bo dealt with, or someone from Days' past, and they'll somehow get a second chance and come back.

Yup he came back for one episode. Looking longingly at the Horton plaque in the town square, had a convo with Nancy Wesley where they forgave each other, and then he picked up Jennifer to take her to rehab and that was it. Maybe it was over 2 episodes but only one day.

It was truly a wasted moment for Roark. I was wondering why they even brought him back?
